The Cal Poly Dream Center is committed to a strong foundation of activism, community, education, and empowerment in support of the undocumented student community at Cal Poly. The Dream center openly welcomes those that are looking for a space to build community, learn about immigration issues, or reflect on individual stories.

  • Services:
    • Free legal guidance provided by the Immigrant Legal Defense (ILD) non-profit agency are available online Appointments can be booked on the Programs and Resources-Legal Services page. Services include guidance on DACA applications and renewals, Asylum seeking, applications for citizenship and permanent residence status, and more.
    • Financial Aid guidance for financing college through the California DREAM Act Application and DREAM Loan programs, external scholarships and emergency financial assistance through the Cal Poly CARES grant.
    • Various mental health resources and guidance available for undocumented students available at the Campus Health and Wellbeing Center.

    • If your financial needs are more immediate, you are eligible to apply for the Cal Poly Cares Grant. The Cares Grant can fund unmet needs in housing and meals, personal care items, academic supplies and materials, professional clothing, and emergency grants for all Cal Poly students, regardless of immigration status.​

The Central Coast Coalition for Undocumented Student Success (CCC-USS) is a collective of advocates and educators that challenges anti-immigrant and oppressive ideologies, institutional practices, and everyday actions that threaten undocumented and vulnerable communities.
