EOPS Program
Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS) is a California state-funded program that provides an accessible and rewarding college experience to low-income students facing social, economic, and educational disadvantages. To see the requirements and services of the EOPS program, click here.
If the student or children of the student are receiving cash aid, we can also bring them on to our CARE Program. We have served a few students here at Cuesta College who were undocumented but not receiving cash aid, but their children were receiving cash aid. We are able to bring them on for an extra $300.00 grant per semester.

CARE Program
Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE), is a state-funded program to assist students 18 years or older who are single head of households with child care expenses.  You must be accepted into the EOPS program, receive cash aid from the Department of Social Services, and have a child under the age of 14. Once accepted into the program you will be eligible for grant monies to help cover child care and transportation costs.
