Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County Inc. (CAPSLO, has been San Luis Obispo County’s federally-designated community action agency since 1965. In 2019, Community Action Partnership served over 38,000 persons across San Luis Obispo County and ten other central and southern California counties. Through a variety of programs and in collaboration with other community service agencies, CAPSLO helps individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency and economic stability through programs that focus on: high-quality early education and child care accessible, affordable dependent care addressing barriers to safe, affordable housing and basic needs health services and education resource connection and navigation

The County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department’s work is broad and varied, yet focused on one
clear mission: to protect and promote the health of all San Luis Obispo County residents. This includes
preventing the spread of disease and injury; encouraging healthy behaviors; protecting against
environmental hazards; preparing for and responding to disasters; and promoting accessible,
appropriate and responsive health services to all members of the community. The Public Health
Department is especially focused on responding locally to the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring all
members of the community have access to the protection of COVID-19 vaccines. We invite you to learn

Cuesta College Monarch Dream Centers of San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles are a safe and welcoming place for undocumented students and families. Our program offers services and resources to ensure the academic and personal success of Dreamers, DACA, AB540 and mixed status students.
Dignity Health : French Hospital Medical Center
We will be offering a free risk assessment for heart disease and stroke which includes a blood pressure check. We will have information regarding our free Dignity Health Workshops that are offered both in Spanish and English. We give our free give aways such as small first aid kit, stress balls, hand sanitizers, and reusable totes.

We provide access to information, referrals, and serves in collaboration with agencies in SLO County. have created a culture of care for underserved families, seniors and unhoused through direct involvement in the communities. All our services and literature are in Spanish.

San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation
San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation (SLOLAF) is a non-profit legal aid organization that provides free legal assistance to San Luis Obispo County residents. Our mission is to provide legal services and resources to people in need, and our vision is legal access for all. We provide free legal help in the areas of housing, eviction defense, landlord-tenant disputes, loan modifications, government benefits, elder abuse restraining orders, conservatorships and guardianships. Our staff speak English and Spanish and other languages are available through interpreters. Our services are available regardless of citizenship status.

SLO County UndocuSupport Fund
SLO County UndocuSupport works to support immigrant families and individuals in SLO County who are excluded from support systems, simply because of their immigration status. We work with partner organizations in the community to provide emergency financial support for immigrant and mixed-status families who are in need, as well as advocate for equitable access to services throughout the county.

About the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County:  The SLO Food Bank is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, serving all of San Luis Obispo County through its direct food programs and network of nonprofit agency partners. The SLO Food Bank’s mission is to work with a network of community partners to alleviate hunger in San Luis Obispo County and build a healthier community.
