ACTIONS AND UPDATES

In solidarity with the Asian Immigrant and Asian American communities

3/17/2021

As the COVID-19 pandemic endures and white supremacy rages throughout the nation, racism and hate crimes against Asian and Asian American communities persist. The massacre of  massage parlor workers in Atlanta reinforces our call to condemn racism, misogyny, white supremacy, and anti-Asian and anti-Asian American violence in all forms. We share in the collective grief and are heartbroken over this violence.

CCC-USS upholds an intersectional viewpoint centered on those directly impacted by anti-immigrant violence. This includes people in Asian immigrant and Asian American communities.

We take seriously our responsibility to condemn racism, and we uphold our purpose to continually and unapologetically challenge anti-immigrant and oppressive ideologies, institutional practices, and everyday actions that threaten undocumented and vulnerable communities.
